Record compliance actions against a piece of legislation

Estimated reading: 2 minutes

Compliance actions allow you to create tasks for account users to address any issues identified, such as gaps in compliance or improvement opportunities.

To locate this function, click the Compliance Actions tab within a piece of legislation.

1. Click Add Action to display the below screen.

2. Select who the action is intended for. There can be multiple recipients, and anybody selected will receive an email notification informing them of the action with a link to access it.

TIP: If you do not see your intended recipient, they may need adding as a user.

3. Use the calendar to select a deadline.

4. Set as urgent? is optional. This is useful if you wish certain actions to be prioritised above others.

Send reminder? will display a calendar that will send an extra email notification on the chosen date, if desired.

5. Use the text box to enter your required Compliance Action.

6. Click Create Action.

1. Click Complete next to the action you wish to close off.

The action must be assigned to you, or you must be a super-user for this button to display.

2. A text box will appear. Enter your corrective action text here.

TIP: Entering a response to each action is best practice, as this contributes to your audit trail and ensures that every compliance activity is documented.

3. Click Complete.

4. The action status will change to Completed, recording who by, the corrective action, and a date and time stamp.

You will be also notified via email if anybody completes an action added by you.

1. Use the edit or delete buttons to amend or remove any actions, if required.

2. You can view all set actions within one table, to make managing your compliance activities simple.
