Set a traffic light status

Traffic lights provide a quick visual representation of each piece and ensure you can meet the requirement of maintaining knowledge and understanding of your compliance status.

1. Click the Traffic Light Status tab within a piece of legislation.

2. Click the drop-down menu to display the status colours and their meanings.

3. Select the colour most representative of your current compliance status.

You should do this after reviewing a piece of legislation, as knowing your compliance obligations and assessing them with a compliance comment will give you awareness of how your organisation is doing.

TIP: Bear your status in mind if a change in compliance occurs – do you need to update it? For example, an update may be released requiring further action, or a compliance action may be closed off removing any gaps in compliance.

4. Click Update. The traffic light status tab will change to your selected colour.

Your status will also be visible from your main legislation register.
