Customising Your Dashboard in LUS

Estimated reading: 3 minutes

The new dashboard in LUS gives you the flexibility to organise and tailor your dashboard to suit your preferences. Customisation is personal to your account, so any changes you make will only affect your own view of the dashboard, not those of other users.

Follow this guide to learn how to use the customisation options effectively.

Getting started with dashboard customisation

To begin customising your dashboard, click the Customise button in the top-right corner of your dashboard. This opens the customisation page, where you can rearrange and hide cards and columns, and add and rename columns.

Moving cards

Within a column:
Drag and drop a card to reposition it within the same column

To a new column:
Drag a card to a different column by hovering it over a gap in another column. Release to drop it in place.

Moving columns

Rearrange columns by clicking and dragging the column header to your desired position. Drop it between other columns to reposition.

Hiding cards and columns

Hiding a card:
Click the eye icon on the card you want to hide – the card will disappear from your dashboard.

Hiding a column:
Click the eye icon on the column header – all cards in that column will be hidden from view.

Adding a new column

Click the Add icon on the right side of the customisation page. This creates a new blank column where you can move cards from other columns.

Renaming a column

To rename a column, click the pencil icon in the column header. Enter the new name and press Submit.

Deleting a new column

If you’ve added a new column and no longer need it, first move all the cards out of the column. Once the column is empty, the delete (bin) icon will appear. Click the icon to remove the column.

Note: Default columns cannot be deleted, but they can be hidden if you don’t want them to appear on your dashboard.

What do the customise buttons do?

On the Customise page you’ll see three buttons in the top right of the page.

  • Confirm changes: Saves your customisations and applies them to your dashboard.
  • Revert changes: Undoes any changes made during the current session and restores the dashboard to the previous state.
  • Restore to default: Resets the dashboard to its original layout, removing all customisations.

Exporting your dashboard to PDF

Click the Export to PDF button in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Before exporting, you can select which cards to include or exclude from the PDF, ensuring the export contains only the most relevant information.

Adding a company logo

If you are a Super-user in your account, you can further customise your dashboard and PDF exports by adding your organisation’s logo. Each account can have a single logo uploaded, which will be visible to all users in the account.

To upload a logo, go to the User Menu (top-right corner of the screen) and select Account Details. Once uploaded, the logo will appear in the header of your exported PDFs and in the Company Logo card that you can see on your dashboard.
