How do I set a Residual Risk Score against a Hazard?

  Risk Assessment

Residual risk is the remaining risk that exists after all additional controls have been implemented or exhausted. It can be shown on your risk assessment as a separate indicator to the risk score.

You can set the residual risk from the Hazard register or when creating your risk assessment.  To set it from the Hazards register:

1. Go to the Health & Safety tab and select Risk Assessment.

2. Click the Hazards tab.

3. Select the Hazard you want to set the Residual Risk Score against.

4. Click SET RESIDUAL RISK.

6. Fill in the Residual Risk details and click CONFIRM.

7. Click confirm and your Residual Risk will now appear alongside your original Risk score.
