New in your register
The ‘New in your register’ section is where you will find the new and amended pieces of law that have affected your register/s on a month-by-month basis. This section is updated at the end of every month and contains updates to content marked as relevant in your legal register.
How do I access the New in your Register section?
1. Go to the Environment, Health & Safety or Food tab and select New in you Register.
The content in this section will vary from month to month. Depending on what changes have occurred each month this section can have up to three dropdowns – Legislation, Guidance Documents and Archived Legislation.
The legislation dropdown will contain the titles of any new or amended pieces of legislation. Selecting the title of the legislation will take you to the register entry where you can read the law or amendment in full, make comments, set traffic lights, etc.
The guidance documents dropdown will contain the titles of any new or updated guidance documents which have been added to the system, along with the title of the register entry it has been added to. Selecting the guidance title will take you to the register entry which it has been added to where you can access the guidance document.
The archived legislation dropdown will contain the titles of any pieces of legislation which have been archived that month. Selecting the title of the legislation will take you to the archived register entry where it will detail why it has been archived.
2. You can adjust the which months are shown by using the date range and selecting the ‘Update’ button
You will now see updates for each month
3. To edit what information is shown for each piece of legislation in the New in your Register, select the ‘View Settings’ button
4. Select or deselect the tick boxes to edit what is visible in the New in your Register
